Dishwasher Drain System

Step-by-Step Manual Drain Process

  1. Power Off: Turn off the dishwasher and disconnect from power source for safety.
  2. Locate Drain Hose: Find the drain hose at the back or bottom of the dishwasher unit.
  3. Position Container: Place a bucket or large container under the drain hose connection point.
  4. Disconnect Drain Hose: Carefully loosen the clamp and disconnect the drain hose from the pump or drainage system.
  5. Drain Water: Allow standing water to drain completely into the container. Tilt the dishwasher if necessary.
  6. Check for Blockages: Inspect the drain hose and pump area for any food particles or debris.
  7. Reconnect Hose: Securely reconnect the drain hose and tighten the clamp properly.
  8. Test Operation: Run a short rinse cycle to ensure proper drainage and check for leaks.
