Step-by-Step Filter Cleaning

  1. Prepare the Dishwasher: Turn off the dishwasher and ensure it's cool to the touch. Remove the bottom rack to access the filter assembly.
  2. Locate the Filter System: Find the filter assembly at the bottom of the dishwasher tub, typically in the center or back corner.
  3. Remove the Filter: Turn the filter cap counterclockwise and lift it out. Some models may have multiple filter components.
  4. Clean the Filter: Rinse the filter under warm running water to remove food particles and debris. Use a soft brush for stubborn residue.
  5. Clean the Filter Housing: Wipe the filter housing area with a damp cloth to remove any remaining food particles or buildup.
  6. Reinstall the Filter: Place the filter back into position and turn clockwise until it locks into place securely.
