Step-by-Step Filter Cleaning
- Prepare the Dishwasher: Turn off the dishwasher and ensure it's cool to the touch. Remove the bottom rack to access the filter assembly.
- Locate the Filter System: Find the filter assembly at the bottom of the dishwasher tub, typically in the center or back corner.
- Remove the Filter: Turn the filter cap counterclockwise and lift it out. Some models may have multiple filter components.
- Clean the Filter: Rinse the filter under warm running water to remove food particles and debris. Use a soft brush for stubborn residue.
- Clean the Filter Housing: Wipe the filter housing area with a damp cloth to remove any remaining food particles or buildup.
- Reinstall the Filter: Place the filter back into position and turn clockwise until it locks into place securely.
- Test Operation: Run a short rinse cycle to ensure proper filter installation and dishwasher operation.
