Built-In Dishwasher

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • Pipe cutter

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Installation Space: Ensure cabinet opening is clean and level. Standard opening should be 24" wide x 34-1/2" high x 24" deep.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all protective tapes, foam blocks, and shipping bolts from the dishwasher interior.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot water supply line to the water inlet valve. Use only new braided stainless steel hose.
  4. Connect Drain Hose: Route the drain hose to drain connection with high loop to prevent backflow into dishwasher.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15A circuit. Ground connection is required.
  6. Position and Level: Slide dishwasher into opening and adjust leveling legs to ensure unit is level front to back and side to side.
  7. Secure to Countertop: Attach mounting brackets to the underside of the countertop using provided screws.
  8. Test Run: Run the dishwasher through a complete cycle to check for leaks and proper operation.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Dishwasher won't start Power issue, door not closed properly, child lock activated Check power supply, ensure door is latched completely, check child lock
