Smart Home Hub & App

Installation Guide

Requirements:

  • SmartThings Hub (included)
  • Smartphone with SmartThings app
  • Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz/5GHz)
  • Power adapter
  • Ethernet cable (optional)

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Download SmartThings App: Install the SmartThings app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store on your smartphone.
  2. Create Samsung Account: Sign up for a Samsung account or log in with your existing account credentials.
  3. Connect Hub to Power: Plug the SmartThings Hub into a power outlet using the provided power adapter.
  4. Connect to Network: Connect the hub to your router using Ethernet cable or set up Wi-Fi connection through the app.
  5. Hub Discovery: The app will automatically search for and detect your SmartThings Hub on the network.
  6. Add Devices: Follow in-app instructions to add compatible smart devices to your SmartThings ecosystem.
  7. Create Automations: Set up routines and automations to control your smart home devices automatically.
Note: Ensure your smartphone and SmartThings Hub are connected to the same Wi-Fi network during initial setup for proper discovery and configuration.
