Initial Setup Guide

What You'll Need:

  • WiFi network name and password

Step-by-Step Initial Setup

  1. Unpack and Position TV: Carefully unpack your Samsung TV and place it on a stable surface or mount it on the wall.
  2. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet and turn on the TV using the power button.
  3. Select Language: Choose your preferred language from the on-screen menu using the remote control.
  4. Country Selection: Select your country of residence for appropriate content and services.
  5. Network Setup: Choose "Wireless" when prompted for network connection type.
  6. Remote Pairing: Follow on-screen instructions to pair your Samsung Smart Remote with the TV.
  7. Terms and Conditions: Read and accept Samsung's terms of service and privacy policy.
Important: Ensure your WiFi router is functioning properly before beginning the setup process.

Automatic WiFi Setup

  1. Press the Home button on your Samsung Smart Remote
  2. Navigate to Settings (gear icon)
  3. Select "General"
  4. Choose "Network"
  5. Select "Open Network Settings"
  6. Choose "Wireless" from the connection types
  7. Select your WiFi network from the available list
  8. Enter your WiFi password using the on-screen keyboard
